The Amaryllis

The amaryllis is a long lasting flower that provides maximum impact.



They are grown from a large bulb and features two to five large, trumpet-shaped blooms that open in succession at the top of its extra-long stalk.

It is most readily available from November to April and comes in the colors of white, yellow, green, pink, red and burgundy.

This bloom provides great beauty but has no scent and is usually moderately to very expensive.

The meaning of this flower is "splendid beauty/pride".
