Are you having a Shower?

I picked my oldest sister from Cottage Country and then later my brother in Whistler to be my bridal party.
First Steve said he didn't want to have a bridal party to keep costs down.
I compromised by asking to just have one.
That being my eldest sister.
However my sister is very busy. So busy, I see her just a few times a year. She also has 2 children, 4 and 5 and just recently purchased her own pottery studio.
Her daughter was to be the flower girl and her son was to be the ring bearer. However after she told me that they were very anxious about their kids being in the ceremony, I said that was ok that they didn't have be involved.
Then I realized there was a good chance that her son, who is Autistic might decide he wants to leave.
So then I asked my brother to be my "Bridesman", so at least he can be with me to make sure my Mother doesn't drive me nuts before i make it to the Church.
My brother however is a Pastry Chef, who recently injured himself Skateboarding and so is now unemployed and can't stand on his leg to work.
I am the youngest of 4 and my mother is now wedding obsessed.
Needless to say I am quite sure there will be no Shower, Stag and Doe or Bridesmaids Luncheon, unless I plan it. Which is all good.
