BestDressPrice Review...

I bought a Flower Girl dress for my daughter from the BestDressPrice.
They represented the dress to be something that it was not.
It has an actual picture and description of the Rosebud 5102 dress on the web-site, which is what I thought I was ordering.
I had no idea I was ordering a replica.
I thought it was probably second hand or something. The flower petals weren't petals at all, they were simply fabric cut into round cloth.
On top of that, remants of the fabric were left in the bottom of the dress.
We have been e-mailing back in forth for several days and have yet to reach an agreement.
I have already had to order the original from the bridal shop and now I am out the $65.00 plus the $120.00 for right dress.
I am guessing that evenually I will file a dispute and get my money back.
I was hoping it would not come to that but I guess when you deal with mis-representation then that's what you get.
My question is: Isn't that false advertising?
I mean they are saying you are getting one thing and you are obviously not, no small print or anything...

Thanks for taking the time to write about your experience with bestdressprice.com
I have had some other past reviews about this wedding dress supplier.
They have all received, like you, knock-offs of the original designer but state that they are not bad as long as you are not expecting high quality.
But, as you say, you expect to receive the dress in the picture on their website. The problem with these sites is that they show the original designer pictures but what you get is what they can copy from those pictures; not the actual designer dress.
If you paid with a credit card or with Paypal, I would definitely get in touch with either or both and launch a dispute.
Although this company is in China and is not regulated by the Better Business Bureau, there might be an option to contact their version of it over there.
Their version is called
Consumer Council...perhaps even if you "mention" them in one of your emails, they might be more conducive to settling the matter with you.
Let us know how it turns out!
