The calla lily bridal bouquet is usually made up of one of two types of calla lilies.
There is one with a large head and a long, smooth stem that is suitable for a presentation-style or pageant-style bouquet. This kind of bouquet, carried in the crook of the arm, shows off the beautiful form and complements the lines of a straight sheath or ballgown-style wedding or bridesmaid dress. If you combine a few (3 or 4) large headed calla lilies with some bear grass and tie it together with a ribbon, you will show off this flower's strong and slender distinguished stems.

The smaller miniature version of the calla lily is ideal for nosegays, boutonnieres and hand-tied round bridal bouquets. As for colors, you can choose creamy ivory, which is the most popular, but they also come in yellow, orange, mauve-pink, and dark purple or burgundy. Now, calla lilies are not cheap but you can just use a few to make an amazing impression. They can be purchased through an online website that I recommend at "I Do" Wedding Flowers.
