The Calla Lily, also known as the arum lily, is a most typically used wedding flower.
There are two types commonly available. One has a large head and a long, smooth stem making it suitable for tall arrangements or presentation-style (pageant-style) bridal bouquets. The miniature version is ideal for nosegays, boutonnieres and corsages. It comes in a multitude of colors such as ivory, yellow, orange, light pink, dark pink, red, dark burgundy.

This flower, although majestic, has no scent, and is available year round but peak season for it is from winter to late spring. It is a very expensive flower and its meaning is "ardor", "magnificent beauty", "feminine modesty". They can be purchased through an online website that I recommend at "I Do" Wedding Flowers.
