The Carnation
The Carnation is a typically used wedding flower that is affordable, plentiful and available year-round.
Add to this that it is a very long-lasting flower and it makes it a wonderful choice for one of your wedding flowers.
The ruffled-look of this flower brings lushness and color to bouquets and arrangements. Using this flower alone will make a beautiful and inexpensive bridal bouquet.
There are many species of this flower that come in variations of larger heads and miniature spray varieties.
They come in color hues of white, yellow, peach, pale pink, dark pink, red, burgundy, green, mauve.
Their scent is spicy and clove-like and are quite inexpensive. Their flower meaning is "admiration", "fascination", "strong and pure love", "unfading beauty".
