Castle Wedding CakesCastle Wedding Cakes are a great idea for not only a fairytale wedding but also a beach and destination wedding as well.You've found your Prince Charming, so why not have a castle themed fairytale wedding cake! Make a statement at your wedding with a grand, ornate and not so ordinary cake. With intricate spires, details and decorations, your castle cake is sure to be the centerpiece of your wedding reception. You do have a few choices with your castle themed wedding cakes. You could choose to go for the whole cake to be in the castle theme or you could have a typically tiered wedding cake with a Fairytale Themed Cake Topper. Whether you choose to go simple or all out, your castle cake will show all your guests that your fairytale ending is coming true for you and your new husband. Some ideas to use in a castle cake are turrets, moats, draw bridges, towers, prince and princess, etc. You could even choose to make your castle themed cake into a sand castle cake if you are having a beach wedding or destination wedding! Work closely with your professional baker to ensure that your cake has a fairytale ending by making sure that there will be enough of the cake to go around to all your guests. To do this, your baker is going to need the number of guests that will be attending your wedding. That way he/she can let you know how big of a cake you should order. Be careful though, these cakes sometimes require a ton of detail which usually ups the prices of these cakes, so be sure to ask ahead and be prepared to budget a larger amount for your cake!
