The ChrysanthemumThe Chrysanthemum flower is a long-lasting and versatile flower that comes in single blossoms and in sprays and in a huge range of shapes, sizes and colors. Most will last at least a week in water. It is available year-round with its peak in late summer and fall. You can find it in hues of white, yellow, green, orange, russet, red and burgundy and has a strong, musky scent. It is inexpensive and its' meaning is "cheerfulness", "optimism", "long life" and "joy". They can be purchased through an online website that I recommend at "I Do" Wedding Flowers.
