DayWeddingDresses.com - Before I decided to purchase ANY dresses from this inexpensive dress company, I specifically asked them, through their "online chat option" where their dresses were being made and shipped from.

They told me that they were made in the USA.

That sold it for me.

I am in the US and I wanted fast service, so I placed the order.

I didn't want foreign made dresses because they never fit, so I placed the order for the three dresses and waited for them to arrive.

The dresses were supposed to have been "tailored" just for my order.

I had to contact the company again through the online chat to find out where my order was and the first chat person told me, "if you have a problem with your order you have to take it up with general service, thank you." and they never spoke to me again.

I logged back in and got another person who spoke to me and I asked where the dresses were being made and they said in HONG KONG!!!

Boy was I angry!

They lied like dogs to me.

So I asked if they could tell me why they would tell me they were made in the US and the operator would not answer me.

I tried again to speak to the operator about where my order was and noone answered me again.

I contacted the "general service" link, which by the way, you have to click on because the website doesn't have anywhere to type in your comments, and I asked them where my order was.

They told me that my order was being prepared.

It should have been shipped by now.

When I finally got a message that my order was ready, the message stated, get a load of this one, that the two orange dresses were completed but the other dress was only in STOCK in pink (when I ordered blue)...I thought they were making these dresses!!! hhhmmmm.


They asked me if pink would be ok.

I told them NO because the wedding colors were orange and blue.

So, I received the two orange dresses and thank the Lord they were the right color orange but they were WRONG DRESSES.

I ordered short dresses to the knee, as depicted in the picture and they sent us floor length dresses.

Neither of the dresses fit.

They were both way too small, and I even ordered them 2 sizes too big!

The maid of honor dress has not arrived yet and the wedding is over.....What a disaster!!!!!

My suggestion is...Do not order from the internet PLEASE!!!!!!!!! TAKE YOUR BRIDESMAIDS TO A LOCAL SHOP!

I am sorry that it turned out so badly for you and that they lied to you about where the dresses were being made.

A lot of the high end designer dresses are also made in China, etc. BUT, the difference being that they are held to more stringent quality levels.

A lot of independent Chinese wedding dress suppliers make knock-off dresses of high end designers but choose inferior quality materials and less talented seamstresses.

There ARE some really good USA based online wedding dress suppliers out there such as I personally find the American based suppliers such as Romantic Gowns, My Gowns.com, Plus Size Bridal more reliable and accountable.
