Didnt expect the moon (with inweddingdress.com). . . .but barely got a clouded over night.

I went into ordering from inweddingdress.com knowing that the dresses pictured WERE NOT the dresses shipped, and that the fabric was very likely going to be a much cheaper substitution.

I ordered BC310 (a vintage-y ball gown). It arrived a week before I was expecting it, in the packaging I expected, based on other reviews (a sort of squished up soft package).

I pulled it out and tried it on. The bust measurement is off by an inch and a half and the darts (which aren't sewed properly) start at different points on the cuff of the arm - making for uneven darts.

Like I said, I wasn't under any grand illusions that the dress was going to be exactly as pictured, but I'm sorely disappointed in the obvious misconstruction and poor quality of the sewing.

I'm left wondering if I can salvage any part of it through alterations. . . .but by the time I pay to have it done, I will have spent enough to buy an additional (higher quality) gown!
