Dressale.com.........STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!

by Misty
(Midway, GA)

I am one of the unfortunate people who made the mistake of ordering from Dressale.com without checking reviews first.

It has been nothing but a nightmare for me.

The only good thing....my dresses arrived on schedule.

I'd have been happier if I'd never gotten them.

Three were ordered, three arrived.

Two were horribly constructed and looked nothing like the website indicated.

Totally not what I ordered.

The third was the wrong color and even though extra was paid for alterations, alterations still need to be done because dressale got that wrong, too.

One of the dresses is falling apart and has never even been put on.

I contacted them with photos as proof of my issues asking for a refund or exchange and their initial response was to offer a $30 discount on a future purchase.

After a month of complaining to them and threats to sue, they are now offering a $90 refund.

I paid that much just for the shipping costs!

They say they will lose money if they give a full refund.

Nearly $500 was spent on the three dresses.

I have since had to go out and purchase new dresses to replace the disastrous messes they sent.

They admit that the mistake is theirs, but will do nothing to correct it other than offer the piddly excuse for a refund and a discount on future purchases.

They care nothing about their customers, as long as they're getting paid for sending out crap that isn't fit to wear.

Comment by Diane:

Hello Misty,

Thanks for taking the time to write about your experience with dressale.com

There have been many brides shedding tears of frustration over dealing with this Chinese company.

So don't think you are alone in this, but it is good to write reviews of your experience to help another future bride out!

You might find it helpful to file a dispute with your credit card company or with Paypal (if you paid through them).

You can also check in with Consumer Council which is their version of the Better Business Bureau to see if that will help.

Take care and thanks for writing in,

Diane
