Guest List Problem - Children not of a prior marriage....
My spouse-to-be has two boys. They have a half-brother (from their mother not my spouses').
We are having only children; our witnesses and the minister to the wedding at the Church & dinner.
Do we have to invite this half-brother?
Answer by Diane:Hello and thanks for your question. A number of couples have problems with their guest list even with such a small, intimate wedding that you are planning.
I think with your situation, it all depends on how close your spouse-to-be is with the half-brother.
It is your wedding and you can certainly invite whoever you would like to celebrate your special day.
If the half-brother would make a "joining" of two families complete, then by all means he could be invited.
I hope that it helps and that everything works out for you,
Take care and best wishes always,
Diane
