I want to buy that wedding dress online, but I do not know when I should order it.

Hi Tracy,

You didn't mention which site you were looking at, so I don't know what the site's policy is as to how long they take to make the dress.

I would take a guess at anywhere from 4-7 weeks for actually manufacturing the dress, then another 2-3 weeks for shipping.

You should also allow yourself enough time to get your dress to a talented seamstress to get alterations done.

These can also take some time, depending on how much needs to be done to the dress.

I would definitely order your dress 5-6 months prior to your wedding so that you have enough time in case the dress you ordered does not live up to your expectations.
