The Hydrangea Bridal Bouquet is a good choice for a summer bridal bouquet. Hydrangeas come in a huge variety of colors from white or deep purple to old-fashioned pink, green tinged with pink or even soft blue.
It has a billow texture and is elegant in nature that goes well at a casual affair or semi-formal affair. It pairs well with an antique gown or a modern sheath wedding dress.

Local availability of hydrangea is summer through fall when it can be inexpensive to moderately priced. If you choose hydrangea in the off season, it could get very expensive.

In order to construct a hydrangea bridal bouquet, you must first properly condition the stems according to the procedure for woody stem and let them stand in a cool, dark place overnight. Then you can follow the directions for making the round bridal bouquets. Another good idea to use with making a bouquet of this type is to use water tubes to keep the hydrangea fresh throughout your wedding day. Just finish off the bouquet incorporating the tubes with your ribbon wrapping.

Hydrangeas are also a good idea to use on a smaller scale for a tiny flower girl bouquet as they are lightweight and little hands don't get so tired carrying them. They can be purchased through an online website that I recommend at "I Do" Wedding Flowers.
