Hydrangea Wedding Bouquet

Oasis Luxe Bouquet Holder

Oasis Luxe Bouquet Holder

When you use cut hydrangea blooms for a wedding bouquet, is there anything you can do or use to keep these flowers from wilting so quickly?

Answer:

Hydrangea are beautiful flowers to use in a wedding bouquet, but, you are definitely right, these flowers need a ton of water to keep them looking beautiful throughout the day.

There is only a few options available to you.

Either keep them in water right up until the very last minute (but risk drips on your dress, so make sure that you carry a quantity of absorbent paper towels to try to prevent them).

When you are out of the public eye, return your bouquet to water right away.

Or you can also have your florist use a special florist foam bouquet holder whose handle can be filled with water so that there is a water resevoir for the flowers. This holder is from Oasis and is called "Luxe Bouquet Holder".

There is another option from Oasis which they call their "Superwet Bouquet Holder". It has a water wicking system so that water is continuously delivered to the flowers.
