Is there any relationship between BestDressPrice and BestBridalPrice?

Both sites sell replica dresses, right? BestDressPrice is much cheaper.

Just feel curious, somebody can tell me?

Hi Jeo,

Thanks so much for your question. It is very easy to get sucked into these kinds of sites.

Every bride wants to get the most beautiful dress for the least amount of money. But, sometimes if it looks to good to be real, it usually is.

I'm just going to point out a few things to you and the others so my apologies if this goes long.

There are a few other sites out there like these ones.

The most reported one is TopBridalDress. Take a look at some of the posts concerning experiences with this company as well as some of the pictures sent in by a kind reader who ordered a dress from them. She received it held together with safety pins!

You can find these at the bottom of myWedding Dress Suppliers page.

A lot of these companies are situated in China. I caught them stuffing my coments with good, warm feely ones. If this is a reputable company, they wouldn't have to resort to these tactics!

So, back to the other two websites that you mentioned...

BestDressPrice

This website has been around for 1 year, 2 months, 19 days. It is a very young company but let's delve into it more.

Skip over the pretty pictures of the dresses and great prices and let's look into their policies.

They are obviously written by someone whose first language is not english.

Their FAQ (frequently asked questions) is non-existent at this time. There is nothing on the page.

Their Shipping and Returns page needs further looking into...

"Free Shipping
All the items on BestDressPrice are free shipping for every place of world.

Shipping Time
Every items shipping time depand on the "Rush Delivery" option you choose.
* The rush delivery shipping time is estimate. Shipping may need to be adjusted according to weight, dimensions, and destination."

So shipping is free or not depending on how fast you want it? Usually rush delivery is the most accurate and is trackable like using Fedex, UPS, etc. So let's look at their adjusted shipping fees.

"Shipping Fee
Shipping fee depand on the "Rush Delivery" and the weight of the items. Details list below:
Rush Delivery Shipping fee
60 Business Days Delivery $6/500g
40 Business Days Delivery $10/500g
20 Business Days Delivery $15/500g
For example, if the dress you order is 1300g, the 40 Business Days Delivery should be $10*3 = $30."

I've never heard of rush delivery taking 60 days!!! Have you!!!

Now, I see that you are from the US (curious, though, since your IP address says that you are from China! You aren't from either of these companies, are you? If so, then I guess this review is not going in your favor!)

Anyway, I digress, so you go by pounds and they have the weights in metric. So I will tell you that there are 454g in one pound.

Have you weighed a wedding dress lately! They are heavy! So, just check out how much your shipping costs are going to be!!! And that's if you want "rush shipping". I guess if you want your dress in a few years it would be free shipping!

Let's look at their return and exchange policy...

"We will accept returns on new un-touched non-altered Dresses (includes Wedding Dresses,Bridesmaid Dresses,Flower Girl Dresses and other dresses). We do not accept returns on special ordered plus size gowns or specialty ordered gowns such as hollow to hem gowns, special measurement gowns, in stock gowns, or discontinued gowns. We will accept returns on merchandise that is damaged or defective. All returns must be within 3 days of when the shipment was dropped off from the carrier. We must receive a verbal email confirmation that you would like to return the gown and you must have a return authorization number from us. All returned gowns will have a 40% restocking fee applied from the full purchase price of the gown. In addition you will incur any shipping fees, transaction fees and insurance fees, which you can refer the below "Shipping fee". Any Free promotional items are not returnable and will be charged full price. This amount will be deducted from the gown refund. Any refused or non-deliverable merchandise will also incur a 40% restocking fee. Once you have obtained a return authorization from us you have 6 business days to get the merchandise back to us. All merchandise must be returned in perfect brand new condition. Holy Cow! They don't say what transaction fees are but 40% restocking fee and 50% for accessories! I don't know, it sounds like you might end up owing them even more if you return the dress.

And don't forget, most of the readers who received dresses from these places said that these were shoddily put together, cheap dresses, poorly fitting which doesn't fall into their "damaged" category reason for returning the dress.

If there is anyone out there who has had experience with these two suppliers, please feel free to post, but I will warn these two suppliers that I not tolerate comment stuffing and I will trace all IP addresses used!
