Make Bridal Bouquet Activities Part of Your Wedding Reception

It's not what you expect, but you can make bridal bouquet activities part of your wedding.

When you go to your florist to order your wedding bouquet or if you decide to try to make your bridal bouquet yourself from fresh flowers found at a farmer's market or supermarket, it might not seem to you that any "activities" will come from it.

Although, your bridal bouquet is something for you to hold and enhance the beauty of your dress, you can make bridal bouquet activities interesting and meaningful.

Now, I'm dealing with games you can play with your bridal bouquet on this page, however, if you are looking for pages on how to make your own bridal bouquet it's just a click away.

You can make your bridal bouquet part of your wedding reception decoration by placing it as well as your MOH and bridesmaid's flowers on the head table.

One of the most traditional things to do with your bridal bouquet is the bouquet toss to all the unmarried female participants.

It is said that the lucky lady who catches the bouquet is the next to get married (and likewise with the guys and the bride's garter).

If you decide to do a bouquet toss at your wedding (it's not mandatory), some of you might not want to toss away your original bouquet.

Instead, you might want to dry and preserve it. In this case, you can either have your florist or yourself make a smaller "bridal toss bouquet" so that you will still have something to toss away when the time comes.

Some brides choose not to keep their bouquet and simply pluck one flower out of it to keep as a memento before doing the bouquet toss.

Another kind of fun idea to try when making this bridal bouquet activity part of your wedding reception, is to have a toss bouquet divided up into several separate bouquets that break apart when you throw it.

In this way, you give the single ladies at your wedding reception more opportunities to get a bouquet instead of tossing the traditional "one".

There are a lot of different games you can play at your wedding reception. You can find some games to play at Printable Games AtoZ. They have great games you can immediately print for use. Check them out!
