my research findings...

I am the person who first originally posted this question about florasdress and online wedding stores.

I did some research and www.bridalonlinestore.com (a reviewed online store I got from this website)has a research study on Ebay and China made wedding dresses. You can find it at http://www.romanticgowns.com/collection/ebay.asp

After reading and seeing pictures of actual dresses they shipped I was very wary of online dress companies.

I did further research and found some online stores that are made and based in the U.S. They have actual pictures of the real dress that they make instead of the designer's picture. And they were original designs and not Knock-off's.

The US made dresses range from $300-$500 so it's still a deal. Their return policy was okay, but I still didnt want to take the chance, because my wedding is only 4 months away and there would be no time to reorder another dress if the online purchase turned out to be crappy.

So, I went to a wedding boutique and found the dress I wanted. They didn't have any tags on it, but I had seen so many pictures of dresses by then, I was almost sure what company it was.

I found the dress company and the style number online, printed it and took it to a quinecereara dress shop. They were able to order it for half the boutique cost!!!

And they threw in alterations and veil into the overall price!!

So my advice to everyone... do your research, try on the dress and pick the one you want, then do research to see where you could get that same dress at a reduced price!!
