Outside Fall Wedding Archway Pictures Ideas
by Diane
(Maine)
I'm looking for some great outside fall wedding archway picture ideas
The wedding is being held outside in a woodsy atmosphere.
The bride would like the archway decorated in fall colors.
She is all over the place leaves, cornstalks, cat-o-nine tails.... Any input
Answer by Diane:Hello Diane and thanks for writing in with your question.
I love arches at an outdoor wedding as they serve as a perfect place not only to hold the ceremony under but also as a perfect photo backdrop.
At the end of the wedding ceremony, if you choose to move your reception indoors, you can always take the pieces off of the arch and move them to the headtable.
The items that you mentioned are definitely awesome on a fall themed wedding arch.
Because you mentioned that the surrounding area is "woodsy", perhaps you could incorporate branches into your arch or you can construct the arch totally with branches.
Just be sure to securely fasten it in the ground or in some other way so that it has now way of falling over if the day turns out a little windy, etc.
You can use anything that you think of with a fall theme. There are many flowers you could use that come in the bold, strong colors of fall such as golds, yellows, oranges, reds, plums, maroons.
What about incorporating decorative little gourds, pumpkins, indian corn, grasses and grain such as wheat, oats, barley, etc., along with some bright red dogwood branches, sumac, and fall fruits such as apples and pears.
Fall colored leaves are also a great idea to use with the wedding arch.
I would probably pick some silk ones up to use and they will show nicely and not fall apart on you when you are putting everything together.
You could check at
Shindigz for some great fall decor as well.
Hope it helps you out,
