Review of Wedding Nova

Having seen a question from Dylan from Washington in the US I would just like to point out that Wedding Nova is a complete waste of time!
I recently purchased my wedding dress from them and it was nothing like the picture they advertised.
I'm not naive, I know that when buying online things will almost always turn out to be slightly different in looks to the picture but this was completely different!
You could tell that the fabrics were of very poor quality and that it had basically been copied from the picture on the website.
I was so devastated and their policy is now 'No RETURNS' so I'm stuck with a wedding dress I cant wear.
I hope people will take careful consideration when purchasing a wedding dress online, it isn't worth the dissapointment when you finally recieve it.
My advice, if you see something you like and can't find a stockist take it to a designer and get it made.
That way you can be sure it is done in the quality you desire.
Luckily I have found a dress from a boutique and am so happy with my choice, but I will always miss not having the opportunity to wear the dress from the picture on Wedding Nova.
Comment by Diane:Hello Susan,
Thanks for taking the time to write about your experience with weddingnova.com
I have had a lot of brides write here with the same complaints from other sites as well. It's the old bait and switch routine!
These sites tend to use pictures from the original designers on their sites but what you get is a cheap knock-off of usually inferior quality.
But this doesn't apply to all online wedding dress sites.
TJ Formal
has authentic designer dresses with free shipping in the US.
RomanticGowns.com is another really good site to check out as well as
PlusSizeBridal.com.
So even if you find your perfect dress offline, you might be able to get it cheaper online through those suppliers.
