Some of the positive reviews for inweddingdress.com here seem dodgy!

I'm also considering buying my wedding from Inweddingdress.com.

I've found "Helen" to be very prompt getting back to me and any request I have about customising the dresses or making a copy from a photo seem to all be possible.

Almost too good to be true I thought.

So I started to look for reviews.

I'm interested to see that amongst all the bad reviews written here are several short 5 star reviews with slightly bad english!

I've noticed that recently their website has also started to include reviews attached to individual dresses and they are ALL positive (and several written in similarly bad english).

Two months ago when I first started looking at the website there were no reviews at all. And all of a sudden there are a lot!

I have a suspicion that they are planting positive reviews on their own site!

So can these reviews be trusted? I don't think so.

Will that stop me ordering? I'm not sure yet.

I'm under no illusions that if I order from this site I won't get an exact copy of the photographs.

I'm also happy to accept that I might need to take the dress to a seamstress to have it better fitted to my size (even if I use custom sizes).

But since I have been to a bridal shop and found a dress I fell in love with, I think I will be disappointed if it doesn't look as great on me as that one did.

I already know that I'd have settle for taffeta, whereas the one in the shop is silk.

The type of fabric does make a big difference in how cheap the dress looks!

I really don't want to pay $1500 for a dress if I can get one for $200 but I wonder if it is really worth all the stress?

I'd like to find a happy medium and try to find someone in my region who can make me a dress for around $600-700.

That way I can check the fabric is what I want and make other changes as necessary.
