Tiffany Bridal on Hastings St . Vancouver, British Columbia - Dishonourable people
Long story short, my wedding dress was improperly measured. It was too short.
Tiffany Bridal would not replace and simply could not fix. They offered to pay for my dry cleaning in good faith.
I ended up going to another bridal store who messed with the crinolin. I bought very flat sandals, and wore the dress lower on my hips.
Fast forward to after the wedding, I called to have Tiffany's clean it....twice.
Nobody called me back.
I placed a complaint with the BBB and after 3 months of writing back and forth, they committed to cleaning....again.
By this time, it had been 4 months and my dress had been cleaned somewhere else.
So I called Tiffanys and the clerk knew who I was and told me to email the receipt to them.
Over a month later, I had not received anything so I emailed to ask if I need to bring in the real receipt or what?
Here's their response:
"Our company will not be paying for any dry cleaning costs provided by another company. We have a dry cleaning service within our own company.
We had offered you and your mother dry cleaning services on your gown in our store from the very beginning.
If you had contacted us before taking it to another outside location we would have been happy to go over the details with you and this could have been avoided.
We would have even arranged to pick the gown up and have it delivered back to your home when it was finished.
The only contact that we received was with an invoice for $268.00." Apparently one needs to have a crystal ball when working with these people.
They
NEVER return calls and avoid any responsibility. They are dishonest and you can not trust them.
What a horrible experience to endure when your supposed to be celebrating.
Save yourself the frustration and grief!
