Top Bridal Dresses

by Aimee
(Tennessee)

I just finished reading one review's experience with Top Bridal Dresses and her communications with "Sara" and I nearly cried, because I had a nearly identical experience.

I saw a photo of the Abby style dress by Claudine for Alyce and fell in love with it, but at $1200 it was far too expensive.

When I found the dress on Top Bridal Dresses for $495. it was still expensive but I figured that even a copy at that price would still look nice.

Like one of the other reviewers I asked where the company was based and was told the US.

All correspondence thereafter arrived from China.

When I received the dress it was bundled into a tiny plastic bag wrapped around with duct tape and was sent from, yes, China.

I opened the bag to find the most horrible creation possible. It was the cheapest, ugliest version of "my" dress that could be made.

The more I looked the worse it was. The "lace" had been cut off a fabric bolt and was glued and haphazardly stitched to the dress.

You could seen every horrible seam, there were loose threads, jagged and raw edges, the sides of the dress were not even symmetrical.

The train on the dress was a piece of netting hanging from the back with more of the cut out/glued lace attached to the edge.

It looked like a cheap curtain. The straps were uneven, with lace starting at completely different places on the staps.

The materials were so cheap and shoddy it felt like the dress was going to spontaneously combust in my hands.

I promptly contacted the company and was told by "Sara" that they would only refund 50%, that was their policy. I said, you violated our agreement by not sending what you said you would supply, nowhere on your website does it say that you will send a copy.

They suggested giving me $80 if I would keep the dress, eventually they offered 60%.

I promptly called my credit card company and this transaction is now in dispute.

PLEASE do not waste your money and upset yourself by dealing with this company, it is not worth it.
