TopBridalDresses - Beware!

Their website is deceptive and is not the "real thing". It has been almost a year since my wedding, which was almost ruined by the dress I purchased from TopBridalDresses. Their website is very professional looking, with the same photos of dresses, brides and bridesmaids as the "real" dresses and "real" websites. I never once thought that these dresses were fake, or anything other than the designer dresses posted on their webiste. My first clue was my Paypal online receipt came with Chinese characters. But the address was NYC. So, no panic yet. I asked if they would shorten the dress, which they accomodated, but when it arrived, it was so short I could not wear heels! Oh, and when it arrived from China, it was in a padded brown envelope! My wedding dress--crumpled and stuffed in an envelope! No dress tag! No nice little note from Alfred Angelo thanking me for my purchase - only bubble lining in a large brown envelope. That is when reality hit that I had been scammed with a knock-off. When I tried on the dress, tears started flowing - it was horrible. Nothing like the dress that I had tried on in the local bridal shop that I fell in love with. I thought I was being a smart consumer and saved $300 by buying online. The materials were cheap, the dress had a strange smell, it was a nightmare. And 3 weeks until my wedding! Fortunately, with the support of my sisters and a talented seamstress, my day wasn't ruined. Please, please - do not purchase from TopBridalDresses.com Comment by Diane: Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with Top Bridal Dresses.
