A vintage style wedding dress can pack a punch of style along with some really great savings for the bride looking for something out of the ordinary.
It used to be that every bride would wear vintage when she got married. Daughters would wear their mother's gown or even maybe their grandmother's gown, but it seems nowadays that the bridal magazines have brainwashed us into "new" and "designer" mindset. If you can't get your Mom's wedding dress, try looking into vintage dress shops or consignment dress shops. Not only could you find an awesome dress but you will be blown away by how much less you will have to spend for it. You could also ask around to friends and family if you could possibly borrow a vintage style wedding dress from them. Just make sure that you take good care of it and be sure to offer cleaning and boxing in appreciation of their generosity.
If you can't find anything from these sources you can try the classifieds in the newspaper, Ebay (check out Wedding Dresses On A Budget) or you can also try the online suppliers listed at Wedding Dress Suppliers. You can also check out 1920s Wedding Dress to see the vintage styling of this favorite era. Any way you find one, a vintage style dress can be a unique part of your special wedding day.
