Use this Wedding Budget Worksheet to Help You Plan

Using a wedding budget worksheet is an important way to help you keep track of the money you are spending on your wedding.

Without it you could easily get into very big trouble, very quickly.

We already settled on a budget that we can work with, so let's start divvying up the money.

Feel free to print this wedding budget worksheet out and fill it in.

Start with the total that you came up with from the Wedding Budget Planner. Divide up that amount as set out in the Wedding Budget Analysis and fill in those amounts in the Estimated Cost blanks.

As you go through your Wedding Reception Checklist and start to purchase items, fill in the Actual Cost blanks and see how you compare.

In this way, you will keep your spending in check. You will know right away, if you are starting to go over budget and can make changes accordingly. (Either cut back, or find more money!)

Basically, what you will find is that your wedding reception venue and catering (food & drinks) is going to roughly be 40% - 50% of your budget.

This is standard and is the easiest way to save on your budget as well. For instance, you can change your wedding reception to a day other than a Saturday or other than June, July, August, and you will save big money.

This is due to the fact that you will be going off-peak day or off-season when reception venues offer better value and savings to attract more couples.

A wedding budget worksheet is very important so that you allot enough money for all those things that are important to you that might otherwise get lost in the crowd.

Some things that you plan later on such as the flowers might suffer because you have spent all your budget and money on wedding decorations or photography, etc.
