Does everything have to be paid off on the day of your wedding or is there anything that can be paid for after?

Hi Judy,

Thanks for your question and welcome to the site.

It all depends on your vendors and what their policies are. It is best to check with all of them to see what they require.

Some of them will ask for a deposit and then the balance of payment due upon receipt of service/product.

Most, I think you will find, will ask for full payment before or on the day of the wedding.

It is a great idea to start a checklist with all your vendors and keep track of what was paid and when and what still has to be paid and when.

If things have to be paid on the day of the wedding, give a trusted member of the wedding party or family the job of hanging onto and distributing pre-written cheques to all who are owed.

This is the last thing you really want to think about on your wedding day.
