Wedding Event Insurance

Wedding Event Insurance is an important item to consider for your wedding.

This kind of insurance coverage helps protect everything you have invested in your wedding planning including deposits you have put down, contracts you have signed and purchases you have made.

Once again, ensure that you read and ask questions about your policy to make sure that it will cover everything you need for your wedding.

This insurance can also cover your wedding against some extreme situation that might cause the postponement of your wedding such as severe weather, accident or sudden illness.

This is sometimes sold under its own policy called wedding cancellation insurance.

It can also cover you should one of your wedding vendors goes bankrupt and therefore missing prior to your big day or if your wedding photos get lost (Wedding Photographs Retake Insurance) or even if your wedding dress gets ruined (Loss or Damage to Bridal Attire Insurance).

You should get Event Insurance if:

  • you are worried about recovering your deposits if a vendor goes bankrupt or doesn't deliver as promised
  • you are concerned that extreme weather or an unexpected illness or injury could force you to postpone or cancel your wedding.
  • the bride or groom is in the military and approved leave could be cancelled or they could be deployed suddenly.

Once again, please check your insurance company and policy to make sure that you have the appropriate coverages for your wedding.
