Sample Menus for a Wedding Finger Food Reception

Having a wedding finger food reception is definitely one of the easiest ways to save on costs for your wedding.

When using hors d'oeuvres in this manner, they substitute the heavier meal such as a luncheon or dinner, and become a light meal themselves.

Sometimes the hardest thing about having a reception of this type is choosing which tasty hors d'oeuvre ideas to use.

I have comprised a list of elegant and very popular hors d'oeuvres that are usually reasonably priced by caterers, easily purchased, or can be created easily by volunteers.

And don't forget, if you are planning to employ some Volunteer Wedding Coordinators on your wedding day and at your wedding reception, you can make their job a lot easier by finding sources of frozen hors d'oeuvres that just need to be popped into the oven or microwave.

Nowadays, there are quite a few great manufacturers of frozen appetizers in specialty shops or even at your local supermarkets.

The key here is to try them beforehand...have a taste testing party to see which ones you love the most to serve to your guests at your wedding reception!

A wedding finger food reception can either be served by paid waitstaff or by your volunteers circulating amongst everyone.

You can always choose to place trays and platters of finger foods on tables or stations so that your guests can serve themselves
