Wedding Reception Game Ideas for you to play at your wedding reception.
Playing fun games at your wedding reception is a great way to provide entertainment for your guests.
Whether it be bride and groom only, the bridal party or wedding guests, the following are some games you can consider playing at your wedding reception. Tying (or Un-Tying) the KnotThis is a fun game you can play with the bride and groom. Start by giving them a piece of rope and giving them one minute to tie the rope into a big and tight knot. To make it a little more challenging, they have to tie the knot with one hand behind their backs. Get it..."tying the knot". You can also play this game the opposite way, and have somebody make a massive, and tight, knot that the couple have to undo, again with only one hand each. It's a great way to see how the couple can coordinate and work together.

The Cinderella DanceThis is a great way to get the single ladies and gentlemen out on the dance floor! Have the emcee or the dj call out all the single men and women out onto the dance floor. Have the bachelors step to one side of the dance floor and form a single line. They should then turn away from the single ladies who will be in the middle of the dance floor. When they have turned away, have the single ladies remove both of their shoes, leaving one shoe in the middle of the dance floor and take the other shoe with them to the side of the dance floor opposite the men. They should hide the shoe behind their back so that the single men can't see it. When the emcee or dj gives the word, the bachelors turn around, grab a woman's shoe and try to locate the owner by trying it on the woman he thinks it belongs to (ladies cannot tell). When they find their match, they have also found their partner for a dance on the dance floor. You might want to keep the song short so it won't be awkward for newly matched couples.
