Wedding Reception Games Kissing

Wedding Reception Games Kissing can add some real sparkle and romance to your wedding reception.

As always, before starting any game, make sure that it is suitable and appropriate for the wedding reception, and that it has been okayed by the bride and groom.

Blowing a Kiss

There's a few different ways to play this game... one of the more challenging ways is to use drinking straws and a couple of small cards (either playing cards were business cards).

Form two equal teams made up of either your guests or your bridal party. Make sure that every participant gets a drinking straw.

Using only the drinking straws, each team must pass the card from the first player to the last player in the line of fastest.

Each team must work together by inhaling the card onto the straw and passing it on to the next player in their line.

The receiving player must use their stride to suck on the card while the passing player should stop sucking to release.

If a player drops a card, they can pick it up with their hand to reattach it to their straw and continue passing it down their line.

To make this game a little easier, you can cut the straw is in half. To make a little more intimate, don't use the straws.

Calls for a Kiss

This is the most standard game played at all weddings that I've ever attended!

Usually at the time when everyone is seated and eating their meals, one guest table will start to clink glasses and their plates with cutlery to encourage the newly wed couple to kiss.

Everyone else starts to clink as well and no one stops until they have kissed.

Sometimes the bride and groom stipulate that instead of clinking, the guest table requesting the kiss must sing a song with "love" in it.

They also could have a number of trivia questions prepared that the wedding guest table must answer correctly in order for a kiss to happen.
