Find the Bride/GroomThere are many ways to play this game...it is up to you how you want to play it! One version is taking the groom and blindfolding him. Line up the bride with about 9 or 10 other ladies at the reception. Carefully guide the groom down the line of ladies, and let him shake and feel the hands of each woman without speaking to her. When he thinks that he has found his bride, then he can take the blindfold off to see if his guess is the correct choice. You can also do this with the bride blindfolded and having to find her groom amongst a lineup of other men. Let the men lean in to place a kiss on the cheek of the bride without talking, to see if she can find her groom. To have even more fun, switch out the bride or groom from the other contestants with someone else before blindfolds get removed. Sweet KissesBe careful with this one, it might get a little hot!!! Give three different flavours of hard candies to the bride to place in her mouth. The groom's job is to retrieve each candy by going mouth to mouth (no hands allowed!) in a specific order. The order could be dictated by the dj or emcee or by the reception guests themselves. This could be turned around and let the groom mouth the candies and the bride be the retriever. How Many Hearts/Kisses Can You Plant?Besides the bride and groom participating in this one, have two other couples play this one too! You'll also need quite a few heart candies, chocolate hearts, etc. The men can stand in any position as long as they are in a row and facing the audience. Each lady gets a bag of candy hearts and when the dj or emcee gives the word to start, they have to balance as many of the candies on their man as the can. They can place them on the man's arms, head, feet, etc., but if they fall off, they don't count! Whoever can place the most candies within one minute wins. Be sure to set ground rules such as "no filling pockets" but give hints that the man can create more surface space by squatting or going on hands and knees. Another way of playing this game would be to have the ladies dip into a bucket of candies and grab as many as she can. Then have her partner try to guess the correct number of candies she has in her hands. Whoever is closest to the actual number is the winner!
