A Lovely Wedding Reception Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

We thank you for bringing us all here safely on this beautiful day to celebrate the marriage of two very special people, (bride's name) and (groom's name).

We thank you for the love, guidance, and support of our family and friends both local and out of state, and their safe return home.

Lord, bless this food that we are about to receive with grateful hearts, and bless those who have prepared it, and those whose efforts and hard work have made this occasion such an enjoyable event.

We ask that you continue to bestow your blessings upon these newly weds and all of us here present today and keep us in your loving care.

We ask this through Jesus Christ, your son, our Lord,
Amen.
