Wedding Reception Table DecorationsUsing Wedding Reception Table Decorations are an easy way to add the WOW factor to your wedding reception. 
When you first see your wedding reception venue before your wedding, you might actually be disappointed. The room will either be empty or filled with plain round or rectangular tables. The chairs will look blah as well. This just shows you the importance of wedding table decorations in adding the magic and ambience to your wedding reception. It is easy to do, you just have to know which details to add. First you should check with your reception site as to which they will provide and is included with their fee. Check to see if they have any other "hidden" treasures you could possibly use in storerooms, etc. If not, and you don't want to purchase them, check out your local yellow pages for party rental places. Chairs
With your reception chairs, start with a chair cover. These are usually found in white or ivory, but can also found in other colours. I, personally, like the white or ivory to which you can add embellishments such as sashes, made from organza, satin, polyester and taffeta. These are usually available in a range of colours and you can usually find one to fit with your selection of wedding colours. Sometimes you can even add flower embellishments or a special chair cover for the new Mr. and Mrs. TablesAs with your chairs, start your wedding reception table decorations with the table cloth. Again, these most likely will be supplied by your reception venue, but just in case it is good to know what to look for. Check out Tablecloths Factory for a great chart on sizing and supply. As with your chairs, I like to go with white or ivory and add a splash of colour using some of the following, but you can order tablecloths in different colours as well. Table Runners
A table runner can greatly enhance your reception table surface. They can be found in a great deal of colour and you can choose one to match your chair sash.Table Overlays
Instead of using a table runner, you could use a table overlay. Choose one that will match your wedding colours or the one you chose for your chair sash.Charger Plate
This can be used underneath your dinner plate to give the table a decorative, colourful accent. You do not use the plate for eating off of, it is usually just for decoration.Table NapkinsWhether you choose to go with cloth napkins in a matching colour or go with white with a coloured napkin ring, napkins can also add something to your wedding reception table decorations. You can also choose to order in custom napkins or cute napkins that will be the talk of your guest table. Wedding FavorsAnother thing that can add to your wedding reception table decorations, are favors. They can coordinate nicely with your theme and can be a real conversation piece. There are many designs and styles of wedding reception centerpieces. They can reflect the flowers of your bouquet or can also match your wedding colours. So you can see that there are many way to decorate your table so that your reception will be magical for the both of you and your guests.
