What Can I Do to Plan Something Special For My Husband?

by Dominique
(United States)

I want to plan something special for my husband during the ceremony or reception.

What are some suggestions that I could do?

Answer:

There are quite a few different things that you can plan to make your day a special one for your husband.

For your ceremony, you could write your own vows or recite a special poem.

For pictures, you could arrange a fun "theme" picture for the guys (ex. if your husband was into hockey, arrange for some "hockey gear" to arrive at the picture taking or the photos to be taken at a hockey rink, etc.

For your reception, surprise him with a themed groom's cake, play a special song for him, make a speech, or if you want to go funny, play some wedding reception games or pranks on him.

Use your imagination and what you know of him personally to adapt an idea that will be truly memorable.
