Where to begin?

by Brianne
(Michigan)

We have picked a date, but I am confused as to where to go from here. Can someone help me get started?

Answer by Diane:

Hello Brianne,

Thanks for your question and welcome to the site.

Having a date picked is a great way to start! Now, take a deep breath and think of your wedding as the biggest party/celebration.

One of the next steps you have to do is to decide on a budget or how much money you want to spend on your wedding.

With this amount in mind, you can then book the two biggies, your cermony site and your reception site.

Once you have these two booked, everything else will fall into place. If it helps, follow a Wedding Planning Checklist to keep you on track.

Take care and best wishes,

Diane
