Does anyone have any info on beautiful-dress.com?

I found a dress I really love and want to order it.

Hi Steanna,

Thanks for your question about this supplier and welcome to our community.

Here's what I can see about this supplier...

It's website has been online for only 9 months and three weeks (as of October 11, 2010), so it is a real young company.

They are yet another wedding dress company from China (there seems to be so many of them cropping up nowadays!)

To get a hold of Beautiful-dress.com , they give you quite a few options including phone number, email and live chat. I always like to be able to know how to get a hold of a company prior to dealing business with it, don't you.

In fact, if you are serious about getting a dress through them, do ask them questions prior to ordering and see what their customer service and answers are like.

The next thing I like to look at is their returns policy and how they stand behind their product.

Here is their return policy...

As stated clearly throughout our website, we can accept returns or exchanges on the bad quality or damaged dresses.


Here are a few of the reasons that we are not able to take returns or exchanges:

1. As for special orders, we do not accept our returns on items unless they are damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered (i.e.: incorrect item is delivered, delivered past wear date, delivered to address other than provided at time of order, etc.). Therefore, we may only accept returns or exchanges from our customers under the same conditions.

2. If some customers want to return the dresses because they don't like the style.In this case,we will charge half of the total price on this dress except the shipping .

So they say that they will accept returns for bad quality, but what I would want to know is what they charge as a restocking fee.

Beautiful-dress.com does charge a 50% fee (price you paid for the dress) if you return it because you don't like the style.

If you do this, you might end up with nothing at the end with a 50% loss and the cost of shipping the dress back to China, so be sure you really want to go through this.

Now, I did find something interesting on their site...it's under "Safe Guarantee".

Basically, beautiful-dress.com says that you can send half the money and they will start making your dress. As it is finished, they will send you a picture of the dress for your approval. If you are happy, then send the rest of the money and they will ship your dress.

It's an interesting concept, but please if you have ordered from beautiful-dress.com be sure to let us know.
