Christmas Wedding CakesChristmas Wedding Cakes are a wonderful choice for your wedding should you plan it for the Christmas season or even just around the winter season.I think that there is something so magical about a winter wedding. Around the holidays, usually people are in a better frame of mind and with good chances that the decorations of the season will still be around when you have your wedding, why not have a cake to match! One of the first things that you have to do is to decide on the shape of your cake. Your baker will help you out as to how big your cake should be when you give him/her your number of guests that will be attending your wedding, but pretty much any shape of cake can do. Just maybe the size and amount of layers will have to be played with. So you have quite a few choices...slab, tiered, pedestals, elegant, casual or even something totally cute and whimsical. Now if you are feeling a little playful, you can still have a traditional cake for your main cake and order a fun groom's cake on the side. When I think of Christmas wedding cakes, I think of all the kinds of things that can be found during the Christmas/winter season. Some ideas to use in Christmas Wedding Cakes are the colors of red, green, gold, silver, white, icy blue, ribbons and bows, presents, snow, poinsettias, frosted and sugared fruits, snowmen, twinkling lights, candles, Christmas trees, Christmas decorations, nutcrackers, etc. I'm sure that your talented baker, when given some of these suggestions, can easily implement them into your wedding cake!
