Cupcake Wedding CakesCupcake Wedding Cakes are becoming increasingly popular at weddings due to lower cost and ease of preparation. 
Generally you will find that your baker will charge less for cupcakes than a tiered cake as they are a lot easier to make and transport. They are also something that a DIY bride can tackle herself a few days ahead of her wedding and then set up as per the following examples on trays or special cupcake stands. You should also be able to save the "cake cutting fee" from your caterer as there is nothing to cut! Some Examples:
A lovely bunch of cupcakes for a wedding! 130 white cupcakes with strawberry filling and buttercream frosting along with 2 all chocolate 1/4 sheet cakes. 
A beautiful cupcake tree for a wedding. Gold foil cupcake papers with small red bows attached to each one. A mix of chocolate and vanilla cakes with buttercream icing. Notice you can still have a small cake to save for your first anniversary or for ceremonial cutting.

This is another way to make a cake with cupcakes...place cupcakes very close to each other and then ice the tops as if they were a flat top cake. To serve, guests just have to pull apart!
