The Medieval Wedding Dress is a much sought after uniquely-styled dress. It is the perfect dress to wear especially if you are planning a medieval themed wedding.
So what exactly makes up a medieval wedding dress? First off, not only can they be found in white or off-white, but most often times you will find them in lovely dark colors of black, red and green. Don't be surprised if you see two or more colors involved in one of these dresses. They are long and flowing with rich fabrics and might have some embellishments in the forms of beading or even tassles. They can be quite fitted through the bodice then flow to lovely lengths or can even have a empire type bodice as well. They very often have unique sleeves. They are most often fitted at the upper part of the arm and then widely flare out towards the bottom. You will usually find these dresses with long sleeves such as these. The following are some excellent examples of some of the high quality unique medieval dresses that can be found. These can all be found on....

This first example of the medieval wedding dress shows the light flowing fabric with fitted strapless bodice. It makes nice use of sheer material used as a cape (perhaps used in place of a veil?)
This next dress is pagan styled with great use of dark rich green paired with brilliant gold accents. Notice the fitted sleeves on top but grow wide on the bottom. Classic!
This next dress makes great use of color and pairs fitted heavier fabric with lighter flowing skirt. I love the details on the bodice.
This next dress is one of my favorites! Notice how the sleeves have just a little pouf at the shoulder, then are fitted but grow wide and full by the time you get to the wrist. The skirt is light and flowing.
This one is really romantic looking! I love the flowing and draping of sheer fabric.
I call this one modern medieval! I love the bold use of red and white. You can still tell it is a medieval dress but it has a very modern appeal to it.
This is another modern medieval dress. This time black is paired with whited and you can see the corset-style ties on the sides letting the bodice be very fitted with a lovely flaring and full skirt.
